Fresh nectarines from the O.P. Agritalia cooperative in the Apulia region. The Big Bang variety is available in June and the Big Top variety is ripe in July. Both produce deep red sweet fruits with yellow flesh.

Storage & shelf life
Store the unwashed nectarines in a cool cellar or in the fridge. They will keep for up to 5 days. Check your fruit regularly and consume soft ones or those with bruises first. You can also freeze the fruit pitted and cut into pieces.

We believe in the sustainability of our production.
"Climate change is becoming increasingly evident," says Lucia Dilillo. "It's putting our production to the test." She and her husband Ruggiero grow peaches, nectarines and grapes on 23 hectares of land. Despite the challenges, she also has wonderful stories to tell. "One day I discovered a swarm of bees in the field, resting on a branch after their journey," says Dilillo. "I put a bowl of water in front of the bees. The next day the bowl was almost empty, and the bees were gone."
