House Blend Honey

30 % of the ground beans for this 100 % arabica coffee are sourced from a small cooperative in Colombia, which processes the beans using the honey method. The remaining ground beans are sourced from family farmers in Mexico and Peru. The addition of honey-processed beans lends our full-bodied house blend a more pronounced fruit aroma on the palate with balanced acidity. This is the ideal choice for those who enjoy our house blend but would like to try something new.
Storage & shelf life
Store the coffee beans in an airtight container. A porcelain or ceramic container is ideal, but a plastic container will also work well. Store the container in a cool, dark and dry place. Ideally, consume the ground coffee within two weeks of receiving it. After that, the aromas already dissipate.

I use organic farming methods to avoid harming the environment.
"My family is made up of my wife and two daughters, our dog Tormenta, two puppies and a cat," says José Villamil Córdoba Cerón. "I have two other children, but they live in the city." The farmer grows a wide variety of produce on his seven hectares of land, notably coffee and sugar cane, bananas, cassava, cocoa and oranges. The family also has five chickens and a rooster, two cows and two draught horses. "I also work as a naturopath," says Cerón. "It's not easy juggling it all."
